Front of Castle

     This is the gate of the castle. Walking on that bridge to
     the door of the castle gave me an almost eerie feeling knowing
     that this structure is 700 to 800 years old. I was in total
     awe! The lion above the door, shown better in the pic below
     is the crest of Holland. The erosion shown in the photo
     suggests to me that it was probably on the original castle.

     We were only allowed to peek inside the castle.
     Naturally, we aso snapped a couple of photos, as you will
see on the next pages.
